Normally I can't stand the fella but it's a really good article and it allow other footballers to see the type of environment that Owen is cultivating at Wanderers

Its a good reflection on the nature of the club if he's had to retire but is still allowed to be around.

Maybe he's doing his coaching badges? Wish this kind of approach could have been taken with Campo*.

*I was beaming with pride the other day when the two players they had on TV to give their opinion on a Barca-Madrid game were.... Campo and Eidurgur.

i think as much as campo enjoyed playing for us, he never enjoyed being in the north of england! i met him once on the xmas markets in manc, he kindda said as much.

we know McCann is retired as a player, but is probably working for nowt while earning his coaching badges - just strange how there has been so much silence around him and his situation.

Good article. Doesn't really say much but really gets across just how good the atomosphere is at the club.
