The Gary Megson school I see.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I'm having a lovely couple of glasses of Concha Y Toro Carmenere with Cornish Yarg and Cashel Blue. And a couple of squares of 90% chocolate.
It has to be said, the South Americans are really coming up on the rails with their mid-price mid-range wines. 7 quid is a good price for the quality.

Steak night with the boys. We had allsorts but I shit you not one of my mates polished his off mixed with supermarket curry and he split a pizza with 2 of my other mates. On the same plate.
My asparagus and chips combo looked pitiful at the side of it

Stick a dollop of supermarket Spanish brandy and a couple of ice cubes in with it and you've got a Lumumba.2399 wrote:I bought more 2 for $4 'Soy Milky' Chocolate drink again.

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
Just had a glass of the new Chilean Pinot Noir on the menu.
An absolute bargain at £18 (restaurant price).
So decided to compare it to a bottle of Cote de Beaune Villages that was on offer at Waitrose and therefore the same (cost) price.
Well done Chile, but some way to go yet.

Guernsey duty free were doing 2 bottles of Mount Gay Rum for £18. and big bottles too (smaller bottles are £18ish each in tesco) but ive, weve, done it all in in about a week. just so goddamn refreshing with coke when you get in from work, but you kindda add more rum and less coke each round till your sipping it neat with just ice. beeeeautiful.
'Chairmans Reserve' is still my favourite tho if anyone is thinking of buying me a present......

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
If you like that, buy the Mount Gay Extra Old. Keep it for special occasions mind, its top stuff. Like fine Cognac for a fraction of the price. About 30 quid a bottle on the net. Down to my last 1/4 bottle of 2, souvenir of a fooking brillaint holiday in Barbados.
I also love rum. Get the taste for it off my grandad, who was in the merchant navy when he finished in the army. He bought a pet monkey in the carribean once, when he said he was twatted on it!

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?

i have no excuse, was just given some once and liked it. i like bourbon and a nice single malt too but id always choose the rum first, just seems more rebellious and fun!? less stigma about it too.
i recommend you to source some 'Chairmans Reserve' if you can, they used to sell it in John Lewis! tremendous.
