FAO Anyone driving down on Sunday
M1's closed between Junctions 1 and 4 in London for around 24 hours, possibly more, due to a fire next to the carriageway.
Should be fine by the time Sunday comes around, but Highways Agency have concerns about one of the bridges and it may be shut for a while longer. Definitely worth checking traffic info on Saturday night/first thing Sunday to make sure the roads are clear, or allowing extra time for your journey and so forth.
