You can get them cheaper than Maplin, but I reckon the quality of the signal would suffer as a result

To quote Ruskin, and bear in mind that this was in the 19th century, he said that "There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price only are this man's lawful prey".General Mannerheim wrote:they were only an example, was gonna say you can probably find em cheaper than that.

I'll order those Maplin fellas by dint of you saying that they're good

I've had similar, and found that the dearer the kit the better the transmitted signal

Re: What are you watching tonight?
I 'borrowed' $10 off my mum to go to JB on Sunday, I got $30.
I was looking at a copy each of Predator 1 & 2, There were differing versions of both, one without the Special Features.
Left there at closing without nothing and on the way home decided to go to Video Ezy and found Jackass the lost tapes for $15.
It isn't in stores at JB but is avail. at JB online for $12.98
I kind of want to get both Predators, I haven't seen number 2

If you get one of those senders get a high rating one 5.4 something or other as the lower range can be affected by wireless connections, we changed to the high one (about 50 quid from maplin) and it works a treat, can turn over etc.
It was this one and the basts have put it down in price

I like it, despite Danny Glover, he just doesnt convince me that he'd really be able to do anything he does in that film.Lofthouse Lower wrote:Predator 2 is awful2399 wrote:I 'borrowed' $10 off my mum to go to JB on Sunday, I got $30.

Actually, reminds me of a thread on another forum this; about central characters that you hate, in shows/films that you really like. Glover/Predator 2 fits that bill for me

You're telling that to a guy who seemingly buys a full price DVD every day most of which are the sort that even in the 99p ASDA bins are still left behind!Lofthouse Lower wrote:Predator 2 is awful2399 wrote:I 'borrowed' $10 off my mum to go to JB on Sunday, I got $30.

12.98 is not full price.BWFC_Insane wrote:You're telling that to a guy who seemingly buys a full price DVD every day most of which are the sort that even in the 99p ASDA bins are still left behind!Lofthouse Lower wrote: Predator 2 is awful
13.00 AUD = 8.50722 GBP
8 Pound 50p sounds expensive though.
Most of the DVDs I buy are under $6/7
Some 5 or under.
There is a 3 dvd set I am going to buy for $20 ; 13.0900 GBP
Full price at JB Hifi is $37.99 ; 24.8668 GBP
I want to start a dvd company and aim to sell dvds hopefully cheap.
