I'm quite glad I have this shirt.Lofthouse Lower wrote:Agreed on that.
It's not a patch on the best kit of the last ten years
I don't know, perhaps the 11/12 kit will grow on me. I hope.

Reebok take note. This is what a proper football kit looks like:norm the jedi wrote:kin hideous as usual... normid esque in it's shitness....

Never understood why people idolise this kit. The collar looks very big and the Umbro patterns on the arms make it look overly busy. Personal preference I guess.BL3 wrote:Reebok take note. Re: New Home and Away Shirts?
Most teams had the repeat Umbro logos on the shirt, shorts and socks. For some reason Bolton just had them on the sleeves. In it's time it was a classic and compared to the shite that Reebok have served up, some might say it still is.t_o_molloy wrote:Never understood why people idolise this kit. Aye, got one too.

Same. They sent me one before the semi too, and look how that turned out. Domed.

Re: New Home and Away Shirts?
anyone watch the reveal video on official website? weirdly the kit looks sort of better, imo, than it does on the pictures. for some reason with every kit we release i initially dislike em and promise to myself i wont buy it. Few weeks later il see it in person..and inevitably cough up the 40 quid
here's hoping it'll follow suite and may have grown on me by the time we play city!

Re: New Home and Away Shirts?
I watched it. Does look nicer on. Looks alright on SKD anyway... Can imagine it'll look rubbish on our fans who aren't quite an athlete... Anyone know if it's a slim fit again? I'm not exactly shaped like those shirts and ended up not buying one that was a) 2 sizes bigger than my last one and b) still looked the wrong size last year on the insistence of my mrs.wanderers_on_tour wrote:anyone watch the reveal video on official website? weirdly the kit looks sort of better, imo, than it does on the pictures. for some reason with every kit we release i initially dislike em and promise to myself i wont buy it. Re: New Home and Away Shirts?
I don't normally get one, not sure about this time. I've been meaning to get one for a while but they seem to have stopped making enough/too many and reducing the price. I seem to be able to buy any teams' replica kit from the past 5 years apart from ours.
Too much blue is my first impression, if it was all white ala Koln it'd be better... or symetrical. Can't figure out what I don't like about it. Maybe it's just the advert again

The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Re: New Home and Away Shirts?
In all seriousness I don't know what all the fuss is about. It looks hideous but its a football shirt at the end of the day.
I can't understand why grown men bother buying them as they generally look shit, cheap and are a guaranteed turn off to the opposite sex.
Grown men should show their colours on a matchday by wearing of the magnificent retro scarfs that were generously handed out in Lisbon.
I stopped buying replica shirts when the contents of my wardrobe became more Ralph Lauren than Reebok.
Still looks fecking awful though.

Nah, sorry, I've given it a couple of days and it still looks like a bored doodle in a maths book. Like Xavi, I'll pass.
