Lofthouse Book

Post by General Mannerheim » Sat May 14, 2011 9:23 pm

Rummaging through some old stuff i found this book, my grandad passed it on years ago, long before they both died. anyway, its called Goals Galore, published in 1954 and its even signed by the great man himself.

was wondering if it could be worth anything? its a bit dogeared, and unfortunately some pesky brat has crayoned across the inside cover!

I got an unsigned copy from a charity shop for a quid a few years back.

Just after his death, unsigned copies were selling on Ebay for over £100. A signed copy would have gone for much more then. But that's the "newsworthy" factor as it were - the book was mentioned in a lot of obituaries. I would imagine interest has worn off now.
