All the crap with the will he stay, will he go back in January cost you your place. You have the players Ba, Parker etc internationals and decent ones at that, what you lacked is owners with balls!!! Grant should have gone in January but the compensation was the major factor. O'neill would have kept you up because he has one thing..... passion. Grant has none.
It gives proper football fans no joy to send another team down (unless its Bolton ) and of all the London teams us Wigan fans have the softest spot for The Hammers, but Wigan showed more fight even when 2 down and deserved the win for that alone.
Lets hope we do Stoke next week and stay up...... and then The Hammers get back next May.
If it doesnt pan out that way ...... we will see you sooner. Keep blowing those bubbles guys n gals...... you are better than that

Meh, Wigan really don't like us but they're like the annoying little shit that no-one really cared about in high school.

Look at the upside, they can both enjoy a Bolton free division next year.

Wigan, destined to be the first club to get relegated from the Premier League and start the Championship as the smallest club in the division.

If next weekend by some miracle (and football gods after the last 2 months you have put us through we are due one surely) both Bastard Rovers and Wigan Pathetic can be relegated it will bring such a big smile to my face, the likes of which haven't been since Stuart Holden disappeared on a stretcher at Old Trafford...Unfortunately I think our gifiting of 3 points to the former has probably ruined my chance of that.....but either/or scenario isn't bad I guess.

Watching Wiggins pitch invasion today reminded me of when we beat Palace 5-2 in 98...then we went to Chelsea and fecked it up.

Isn't this just a part of their pathetic attempts to strike up a rivalry that we don't care about?

They're just some sort of annoying hanger on that have assumed as we live nearish to them that we care.

I'm wondering where the etc was going. Or, if, as is more likely, he ran out of good wham players...

Alan Green, of all people, was saying that Big Sam would've kept West Ham up despite playing a brand of football he dislikes.

Probably true on both counts :)
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Why the glowing write-up TKIZ? You a fan or something?

Ali on twitter this am: What a wonderful morning after the big win yesterday. It really was one of best moments yesterday. I felt that all Wigan was one family.

To which several people pointed out... it is one family

Swindon Town? Or was that the last of Div 1?
