Why thank you, kind sir. Off work today, just watching Space Shuttle Endeavour lift off on the news. An awesome sight as always.

Watched Rec and Rec2 in recent weeks, both pretty decent films if you like a bit of a zombie flick.

Rec is great, didn't like the US remake. Yet to see Rec2.

Agreed re: the remake.Lofthouse Lower wrote:Rec is great, didn't like the US remake. Yet to see Rec2.
If you liked Rec, you'll like the sequel - it's possibly better than Rec.

Interesting, it's on my Lovefilm list.
The lads there (thanks Marek and Tomasz) have sent me 'Machete' on blu ray - sounds like a nice foreign film that our pretentious film critic might enjoy

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Watched this BBC4 (great channel) thing on the struggle to save English canals (don't think I saw mention of any Scottish, and only one fleeting mention of a Welsh one)...
I just loved it - all these totally, totally stubborn bastards determined to protect something they really found valuable and defeating the blinkered state over and over again with their efforts - and retaining a canal system now enjoyed by hundreds of thousands a year that would have been closed down by governments (of all persuasions) if they hadn't kicked off...
they got a result...

Really?
I'd give it a sympathy zero.
Diff'rent strokes.

Now Predator is awesome but fooking hell....superjohnmcginlay wrote:Predator 2's alright. It's not Predator obviously, nothing could top that.P.O.S. wrote:I like it, despite Danny Glover, he just doesnt convince me that he'd really be able to do anything he does in that film.Lofthouse Lower wrote:Predator 2 is awful2399 wrote:I 'borrowed' $10 off my mum to go to JB on Sunday, I got $30.
I was looking at a copy each of Predator 1 & 2, There were differing versions of both, one without the Special Features.
Left there at closing without nothing and on the way home decided to go to Video Ezy and found Jackass the lost tapes for $15.
It isn't in stores at JB but is avail. at JB online for $12.98
I kind of want to get both Predators, I haven't seen number 2
Actually, reminds me of a thread on another forum this; about central characters that you hate, in shows/films that you really like. Glover/Predator 2 fits that bill for me
Now Alien Vs Predator - that was fooking rubbish.
