Basically they're a massive profiterole, so cream.

Yeah, it's pass out on a sofa after about 8 drinks too many, with a handgrabful of the bastards in your hand. There were at least four left this morning though!

Did our regular midweek standby, pasta putanesca, but didn't take the seeds out of the chili... just carelessness... it zinged... we liked... :D

I had that in Paris, was rubbish, nowt like what you describe. Too many anchovies capers and olives. Plate of salt. Yak. Nearly no chili or garlic.

We did the Delia recipe - from the Japan world cup - like you let it bubble throughout the first half and eat it at half time... a neat idea from the Guardian... excellent... if you like chill anchovies, olives, garlic, basil, tomatoes, capers... and, in our case, chianti riserva...

very, very nice... soul food really :D
