No, not at all

It's telling for the present, nothing else
I disagree, despite all of our current injury concerns I still think by selecting these 2 individuals Owen Coyle must faith in both at some level and tomorrow. And combined with the number of contracts running out next season tomorrow will be a great incentive for the lads next season, even if they don't get many minutes on the pitch.

And I meant in the squad tomorrow Bish, I think someone had asked Vela if any of the other reserves had made the squad and that was his response on Twitter.

It's possible they might both get on the pitch tomorrow and then let go/sold in the summer.

You'd think it's a good sign for those players though.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

You feel free to disagree, but being selected ahead of the departing Elmander and the injured Davies, Davis, Muamba and Holden and any new arrivals is hardly the signalling of a brave new world

Its merely saying that we're woefully short of options

...or shitting themselves, thinking that if they don't keep a clean short/score a hat-trick/get 2 assists (depending on position, delete as applicable) they'll never play for us again!

Won't happen to Vela as he signed his first Pro contract with us. Not sure about Blakeman, think he signed one too?
Pfffft.

Come on you whites! Can't say I am very optimistic. Hell I have Tevez as my captain in fantasy football, but those are usually days when I am most surprised.

Same starting lineup as could be expected should jmjhb's post go to be true. Nice to see Vela getting a place on the bench. Hopefully he'll be given a first team debut as opposed to making up the numbers.

This could be the last we see of a few of those players (Sturridge, Elmander, Gardner, Jaaskelainen, Cohen?), hopefully we'll see a few of those in Bolton shirts next season.

Elmander and Gardner vs De Jong, Barry and Y.Toure. :hang:

Nice to see Vela on the bench.
I think the decision to keep Knight in ahead of Wheater is bizzare, but there you go.

Pleased for Vela. Says something about him that he can make the first team bench at 17. I just hope he actually gets some game time. Maybe bringing Gardner off early so he gets the fan's applause??

I've got a slideshow with audio from a Spanish Norman Collier impersonator.
