Re: Elmander signs for Galatasaray
there is absolutely no way we will start with Davies and Klasnic up front first game next season.Choppers wrote:That is exactly my fear.James B wrote:only read page 1 and there really are some embarassing twits on here
if sturridge also goes coyle has a huge task sorting out the frontline
Elmander and Sturridge out, leaves a forward line of Davies and Klasnic, with bugger all on the bench.
go out on a limb here and predict neither will
they might be our cm partnership howevever

I hope you're right, Klasnic ok as an impact sub, and though i'm sorry to say it, SKD is not the player he was.
2 strikers needed, hopefully Sturridge and AN Other, with SKD and Klasnic when needed.

Re: Elmander signs for Galatasaray
It will be a disgrace if Elmander plays today and Coyle should go if he does, today we should look at our options (one being if sh*tty are rumoured to be going to bid for Cahill, not to let Tevez tear him a new one so don't play him).
Anyway I hope you get a good game today this will be one of the few last games I've missed but I'm as p*ssed off with the stoke fiasco as I was with Lisbon and the Arse game aside nowt's changed my mood they can keep the skanky ale today.

Re: Elmander signs for Galatasaray
Ward has played on the wing for Huddersfield all season, why are people saying he's a striker?
Not sure why it'd be a disgrace if we play Elmander today. If we get 3 points we stay in the top 10, we could drop WAY down the table if the teams around us win today, I'd rather accept the "disgrace" of Elmander playing, and finish the season on a high, rather than achieving a moral victory and playing a kid up front, and finishing 13th.

if he does play i really hope he doesn't get booed.
i for one am pleased he isn't staying but acknowledge he has given his (rather limited) best

Re: Elmander signs for Galatasaray
Playing Elmander is just too much of a risk, if you want to win this game it's not a good idea to select a player who is almost out of contract and will be trying to prevent an injury which could bugger up his last 'big' move.Choppers wrote:Ward has played on the wing for Huddersfield all season, why are people saying he's a striker?

Re: Elmander signs for Galatasaray
Whereas playing an unproven kid against Manchester City...?
Elmander's "next big move" I couldn't give a shit about, and if he can't pull the shirt on one last time and play his guts out (something he has ALWAYS done) then yeah, good riddance to him.

get a grip Hoboh - it's Elmander's job - it is what we have paid him to do (very handsomely) - he is our player, contracted to us - he should play.
as for his move and possibly getting injured - really not our problem.

Think it's £850k per place. So we could finish in 14th and get £5.95m or finish in 8th and get £11.05m.
I wonder if ED would rather us try and get the extra £5m by playing our strongest team?
As for Coyle going, just plain stupid.
