Re: Today I'm happy about......
Great news, LL. All the best to your family. I remember only too well my euphoria on the birth of my first. I also remember my terror when wife and son came home. If he'd been a puppy or a kitten I would have had no problem, but this little bundle was MY son! As it turned out there was no real problem as the basics are the same: feed them (not you), clean up after them (you) and give them a cuddle when you can. Simple.
All the best, mate, you have started on the great adventure of fatherhood.

Congratulations. Was expecting to see this in the New Members forum. I genuinely hope all is well and that you get them home soon.
My daughter will be 10 this week. Born 2 days before the Play off final v. Preston.

I'd say that was very inconsiderate of her, but seeing how we've only been a Premier League team since she was born, is she our lucky charm?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Yes, very definitely. Let's hope LL's daughter brings the same luck.

My son had the good grace to be born on day after our play-off final defeat to Watford in 1999. I am eternally in his debt.Lord Kangana wrote:I'd say that was very inconsiderate of her, but seeing how we've only been a Premier League team since she was born, is she our lucky charm?

Re: Today I'm happy about......
Just got my twins dressed in jeans and their little Arsenal shirts - they look so cute
Doesn't take that much to make me happy!
(deciding now on what to wear myself and wondering if my Arsenal shirt also, might be a little over-kill

Is that kind of behaviour considered acceptable down in the smoke?

I don't live in London - and what kind of behaviour? Putting children in Arsenal shirts? I would say that should be encouraged anywhere, around the world, but i realise that might be a minority view on here!Lord Kangana wrote:Is that kind of behaviour considered acceptable down in the smoke?

So long as they wear them 'the right way' round.

Incidentally, is that why they changed the cannon on the logo? Was it shooting 'the wrong way'?
