Ba on a free, Johnson and Gardner from Brum, Campbell from Blackpool

I'd take Gardner from Brum in a flash aye. I'd side more with Ridgewell

Zigic tempts as a long-term Davo replacement

I'd imagine Parker will end up somewhere, I doubt it will be with us

Campbell will end up at Everton or Sunderland or even Spurs as they have to have 26 strikers whilst we make do with Fat Davo and Robbie Feckin Blake.
We might get Gardner or Johnson from Brum but then again Spurs will have him as they also have to have 26 central defenders..
The voices in my head may not be real...but they have some great ideas!

We might be able to have a look at Ridgewell, Dann and Johnson will have more attractive suitors than us

Birmingham of course won't need to sell with their money.

I'd also swap Carr for that Icelandic tosser we have at right back in a heartbeat, despite Carr being about 90

but its hardly like what would happen if a team without a backer went down, or in my head anyway

i suppose i actually know the best part of fcuk all about birmingham so if im wrong brilliant...players will force themselves out but i cant see them accepting low bids

Has any time which has ever gone down immediately sold all their best players?

Maybe they have and I can't remember, but most of these fire-sales never materialise.

If we don't get a short term replacement for the lump, one who can run and kick it straight, we're fcuked

I'd rather play Davies than Zigic, or Danny Ward on stilts.

He arrived with decent pedigree, and we've been linked to him previously. Just because Big Eck hasn't got the best out of him, doesn't mean there's a mid-table-level striker in him. And I don't see a queue of affordable ones

Zigic is pure shite. Pure unadulterated shite. He's big and thats it.

Can only assume that HRG hasn't seen him other than MOTD flashes. Because honestly he's utterly wank!

Surely with Coyle as manager we should not be looking for Davies MK11 (which is not Zigic) but two mobile strikers, with a bit of technical ability. What we really need is someone like Elmander who can come in fresh into the system we play now and provide the necessary movement and running up front.

Spot on

Rodrigo came on today and finally we had somebody on the same wavelength as Sturridge

Unfortunately their clever interplay was wasted out wide cos Davies has some photos of Coyle and Brian Jensen

Birmingham are screwed. There'll be a firesale of epic proportions. I'd certainly throw our cap in the ring for Gardener et al. But there may also be plenty of others in for them.

Charlie Adams anyone? One man team against yernited today.

Slightly tongue-in-cheek.
