As for Jo, don't really rate him, he's a bit of a billy big time and would be on big wages. Wright-Phillips again would have to break the bank for that

Entirely possible. Given Coyle's comments about Elmander's (last) contract, I reckon the manager might want a wider squad under a lower wage ceiling.CAPSLOCK wrote:I wouldn't mind betting you could have stopped thereboltonboris wrote:No players out of our wage range please... Which brings its own risks. We have to be careful not to rob the first team of enough quality to see off enough teams, for the sake of having a fit 11 available every week.
I'm hoping that the new financial reality that faces many clubs this summer will take the heat out of the middle and lower end of the market, meaning decent Premier League-able players won't be commanding top wages and fees. This could of course affect our own plans for offloading and generating funds.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

What do people reckon to big Tommy Eaves, he's scored like 12 goals for the reserves. Could he handle the step up? And also whos this vela we've got young attacking midfield isnt he? Gives us your opinion.

Any quick striker for me like DJ Campbell, Simeon Jackson or Nicky Maynard or somebody who is not quick but is very talented such as Fabio Borini who is out of contact and could be available for free or a little compensation.

We need to avoid big lumping strikers, we have enough of those already.
Someone like Andy Johnson or as above DJ campbell is something we have been missing for years - i'm sure there is a note in the managers office that says buy 6ft+ strikers only!

Re: Boltons next top striker?
Tom Eaves looks a good prospect but that's it at the moment. Would like to see him go out on loan next season, perhaps to a championship or more realistically a league 1 team (preston north end??).
Saying that we're not exactly gifted in the striking department at the moment so all of that depends on a good one or two new forwards coming straight into the first team.

I thought only violent conduct warrants a 3 game ban these days.Lord Kangana wrote:3 games isn't it?

It is not that straightforward flower, not all red cards mean a 3 game ban.boltonboris wrote:It was a straight red.. 3 games
Re: Boltons next top striker?
If it's straight red then it's a three game ban. 2 yellows and a red is one game.Big_Sharps wrote:It is not that straightforward flower, not all red cards mean a 3 game ban.boltonboris wrote:It was a straight red.. 3 games

A straight red does not always mean a 3 game ban you stupid cúnt, it depends on the nature of the red card.boltonboris wrote:Straight red sunshineBig_Sharps wrote:It is not that straightforward flower, not all red cards mean a 3 game ban.boltonboris wrote:It was a straight red.. 3 games
