Source? Didn't we deny that we were interested a few weeks back?
Coyle said he wasn't interested or maybe Marc Iles has reportedly wrongly again?

Burnley fans seem pretty resigned to losing him on clarets mad

If I'm honest I don't know enough about him, it's only what I've read on here. He doesn't strike me as the type that would 'rip up trees'.

On saying that I've also said that about other BWFC players and been proved wrong in the past

A fit McCann is better than a fit Mark Davies, in my opinion (shame the times that both of them are fit is sporadic- at best)

McCann is a very good player though, would love us to get him in.

No worries fella, if he's that good then he'll make a great addition, just hope we can keep him fit or we've gone and landed ourselves the new JOB or Quinton Fortune

And he'd be good organising the Academy Christmas party...

Feel slightly sick at the thought of that senseless thug at our club...

Whilst I agree William, you have to admit that Joey Barton (along with Scott Parker and Stuart Holden) is one of only a handful of midfielders out there who would fit our system like a glove.

Its a really difficult one, and I'm torn. the word on the street is that he's started to settle down a bit up there. But who trusts the word on the street?

Don't deny a word of that...

Would we sack him if he stuck his cigar in the face of a trainee? Man City didn't, even for that...

Don't find it a difficult one, myself...

Daily Mail reporting Pratley signing on a bosman (although it's probably the worst kept secret around that he's coming)

Bosman, eh !!

I wonder if Swansea fans booed him at his final game.

Just asking.

Anyway, why not Ferrie Bodde ????

I think I read that they did.

But then we're not as special as some would have it.

I'm not if sure Ferrie Bodde has played more than 10 minutes of football since we were last linked with him about 18 months ago.

Mirror saying 17,000 a week for Pratley. Decent- by our usual 'let's throw all our money at freebies' policy.

I hope this is true, I know the rumour has been circling around for a while like (since january??) and he would be a good addition, especially on a free/reasonable wages. It seems a tad weird that he isn't waiting to see if Swansea are promoted before finalising any deal on his future, even if any contracts haven't been signed as yet everybody feels it is iminent. I guess he's in that Owen Coyle mindset when he switched from Burnley, i.e which club has the best chance of staying next season/in the near future.

Pratley may feel that his time at Swansea had come to an end, plus and I don't want to sound too much like Spammers but we're are fairly established in the Premier League.

Oh cr*p I do sound like one now

Nailed on relegation candidates now TKIZ.

I hope you feel suitably ashamed.

A million billion times, PLEASE make this 'Nixon Exclusive' be an accurate one.

If the value is 20M, I reckon about 8-10M would be cash plus those two players. That would be a superb deal for us.

Good deal for us. I don't know if it's good for Cahill. Toure, Kompany, Lescott, Richards etc. for competition, too easy to become the forgotten man.
What could've happened; did.
