Bolton Wanderers striker Ivan Klasnic has been called up to the Croatia squad for the first time in almost two years ahead of the upcoming European qualifier against Georgia.

(is it not a tiny bit irritating given that this is being reported on the official BWFC pages that they feel it necessary to introduce Klasnic as "Bolton Wanderers striker"?)

At least it wasn'r "Bolton Wanderers Football Club"
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

It's on the BWFC website TD. Hence no need to explain he's a Bolton Wanderers player in the text. Just irks people I guess.

Yes, realise that, just sounds like a bit of pride to me though. Can't see anything wrong in it. We might get Sunderland supporters reading it.

sounds like you just being argumentative for the sake of it Tango - it seems clear enough to me!! It's just my opinion etc... some people!!!  :whack: :conf: :hang: :spank:

(actually - my point is that the site is crap and isn't run by us - we hawked it out years ago - it is generic - hence we often get adverts with ManU players in - and crap like this that feels it has to tell us that Klasnic is a bolton player. I used to reference this by refering to it (hilariously) as he offishul Bolton Shite.)

Well, of course. But I still don't see much wrong with it. How would your ecclisiastical body put up a statement about you in the church mag, : "Our good mate thebish" :)

I don't know why you persist you argumentative old goat! - it's supposed to be ME that picks pointless arguments with YOU isn't it?? (and to think I worried you were still alive!! )

but since you ask - absolutely not!

my Trinity Church magazine does NOT refer to me as:

"the Minister of Trinity Church, Phil!" nor would they write "our good mate thebish".

thet would simply refer to me as "Phil"

my guess is - and correct me if I am wrong -that Bolton fans on a Bolton website would know who Klasnic is without being told he is a Bolton striker!

We've signed Klasnic?!

When did this happen?

Not sure that is a good signing. I've heard he only has one kidney.

I certainly wouldn't want him to start in an FA Cup Semi Final!
