Simple but good tonight. Had a big oven-bottom muffin/barm-cake with hot fried beef slices and onions on it, and home chips and peas on the side. Enjoyed immensey.

Now then; subjected the Flaming Dragon on The Rock to the ultimate test last night, by taking four Chinese visitors that we have in there. Their verdict? Absolutely loved it - reckoned that the nosebag's proper authentic and exactly the sort of stuff they get back home (I didn't push the monkey's brains issue though). So there you go, proper tackle, unlike every supposed 'Mexican'. I loved it too despite them having run out of vanilla ice cream! Six of us, stuffed to bustin', couple of drinks apiece in there as well, £100 all told.

It read as a restaurant called the Flaming Dragon on The Rock (in Bury) to me. I may be totally wrong mind.

A couple of Tunnock's Caramel Wafers - the acme of chocolate biscuits.

There was an article in the news recently about a man who was up in court through having beaten a fox to death with a golf club after it had pinched his biscuit. The beast, I thought, just like every other right-minded individual on hearing of such savagery. However it turns out the biscuit in question was a Tunnock's Caramel Wafer. Grounds for diminished responsibility I'd have thought...

After a few weeks off the booze, hit the Jura Superstition last night for a couple of large ones after a shitty day at work... super stuff.

They'd probably just talk about Bolton Wanderers or music or beer.

Fry up tea tonight including egg-bread. Some of the mixture was left over so can't waste it. Egg-bread for supper too. Love the stuff.

Egg-bread is? Bread dipped in whisked egg then fried?

Sounds nice...

French Toast.

Eggy Bread, Gypsy Toast..... bread dunked in whisked egg and shallow fried.

Best served with crisp, streaky bacon I find. Oh yes :oyea:
