he deserves a chance because we are paying him and think him worthy of a contract. I'd object to us paying anyone who the club did not think was worthy of a chance.

To be fair we've been paying a few recently like that and eventually couldnt boot em out quick enough...but until they've played PL football you cant say they wont make the grade in PL football.
