He's not awesome on Football Manager but he's better than average.
I already posted his stats a week or so ago.

The BEN is reporting Cahill to Citeh in a plus players deal.
It seems the same rehashed stuff but the tone is confident.
Ideal deal for Cahill $10m cash + Onuoha and Boyata loan. Plus threaten Arsenal with tapping up charges and get Vela on loan.

Looks like David Ngog - mentioned by some as a good idea for us - is off to Sunderland as part of the deal taking Jordan Henderson to Liverpool. As mentioned elsewhere, it might not help to have Steve Bruce charging around the transfer market with the thick end of £50m in his pocket (£18m for Bent, £20m Henderson, plus his summer spending money off Uncle Ellis). Let's hope he spunks until he's spent as quickly as you'd expect from a man of his looks.

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Is he worth it? I'll leave aside the usual "is anybody worth that?" question but use the usual "He's worth what someone will pay". Liverpool started at about £13m; Sunderland stuck to £20m; Liverpool wanted the deal done before the Euro U21s start this weekend (with Henderson in situ) and ramped up to £16m; Sunderland stuck to £20m; looks like Liverpool panicked and splurged.
The Ngog deal will probably be separate, maybe a loan, as per Welbeck/Fraizer Campbell etc - Bruce has been doing that for a while now, albeit with less success than Coyle has with Wilshere/Sturridge.

I think Bruce is intent on taking half of Man United's unwanted reserves this summer, hence he'll probably splurge his 20m + on Gibson, Wellbeck and Wes Brown...and they'll still be a distinctly average team.
But they'll still beat us!
To be fair though, i'd like Wellbeck.

i always wondered what they sang for that bit !
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Just don't get how Jordan Henderson is worth £20m and Gary Cahill is only worth £17m? Guns need to be stuck to here. He's still our player at the end of the day
Pfffft.

£17m for Cahill because that's the fee stipulated in his contract
£20m for Henderson because he doesn't have a similar clause.
Both massively overrated and going for amounts double that of their 'realistic' best value.
