I think we need a discussion on how many kinds of wank Cameron Jerome is:

Bolton and Stoke lead chase for Brum striker

Relegated Birmingham will allow striker Cameron Jerome to leave the club if the price is right, according to the Press Association.

Bolton have been linked with a move for the former England Under-21 international.

Birmingham need to generate income after losing their Barclays Premier League status as manager Alex McLeish looks to rebuild his squad.

Bolton have made initial contact with City who will want in excess of £5million for the former Cardiff player.

Stoke were also linked with Jerome during the January transfer window.

He has been the mainstay of the Birmingham attack for the past five years and scored 11 Premier League goals during the 2009-2010 campaign.

But last season Jerome went 23 games without a top flight goal from November, although McLeish praised his overall contribution to the Carling Cup winners.

McLeish is also preparing himself for possible moves for other members of his squad.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is known to be an admirer of Birmingham central defender Roger Johnson who has also been linked with Blackburn, Bolton and Sunderland.

But no formal offer has yet been received for a player who moved from Cardiff for £5million two years ago.

According to Celtic's local paper, we've had a 2M bid rejected for Kayal.

Would happily pay double that for him, should he want to leave- thought he'd said he didn't want to.

No. If a lot less than 5m well the answer would have to be no again.

Based on what? He has done 'alright' in an expensive Celtic side that failed to win a two horse race.

For £2m he can go on the bench, but for £4m? You're having a laugh son

This is a league in which Georgios Samaras is deemed 'a good player'

Gotta agree. I think SPL players look better because of the quality of league being so poor. Kris Boyd didnt set the world alight at middlesbrough, did he? And thats at championship level. £4m is waay too much.

Don't particularly care which league he's playing in, he's a good player- one of the best Celtic have after perhaps their left-back Izaguirre, who will probably end up at Liverpool.

The Premier League is better than the MLS yet Fabrice Muamba isn't fit to gel Stuart Holden's hair.

Kris Boyd
Barry Ferguson
Craig Gordon
the entire Middlesbrough side

'Top' SPL players are barely good enough for Division One, never mind the Premier League

Why would they sell him for 2m then?

Come on....it's paper talk, life's not a FL Manager scouting mission.

Least if we signed Jerome then Muamba would no longer be the worst finisher at the club

They won't, that's why they (supposedly) rejected the bid.

Been linked with him plenty of times before by other papers, Nixon in the Mirror, Daily Mail, People. Fair to say the likelyhood is that if we are interested, we've been scouting him and are impressed with what we've seen.

If there's one thing I'd trust Coyle to do, it is pick out a decent footballer capable of playing in the middle.

Celtic's opinions on the matter; http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/showthr ... 046&page=8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; word of warning: if you're easily riled by an SPL club calling a Premier League club shit, do not enter this forum.

Owen Coyle is a chancing bastard.

Add a zero on and then we'll start discussions.

That sounds more like it for something thats played in that league.

I just love Celtic fans, they are actually so deluded that they think they play the same standard of football as the big boys of the premier league. If they moved down here they'd be relegated before the season began.
