Re: Where are you going tonight?
Both Mrs C and myself loved it and for me it was the highlight of the season. Im not usually pre-disposed to enjoy musicals but after two previous musicals at the same venue in the last year, The Hired Man which I thought really good and David Copperfield, which was passable but no better than that, I went into this one with an open mind.William the White wrote:Any thoughts on the show you want to share? Last show of another really good season...
This one has everything going for it. Humour and horror from a large cast obviously enjoying themselves. The music was excellent too. A full house in the Octagon and I noticed that the very appreciative audience was of all ages which is good for the future of the venue. All in all a really good night out and another eight shows booked for next season which has a strong line up.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to that as well. Margot Leicester will be outstanding in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?clapton is god wrote: All in all a really good night out and another eight shows booked for next season which has a strong line up.
The Winslow Boy is a great play by a real craftsman. And David Thacker will have a ball with Macbeth, which i wouldn't mind betting will be set in modern times in some blood-soaked tyranny.

Good luck.
Should be faster now you've had the shell removed from your back.

Anyway, finished in 47:15. Quite pleased but about 2 minutes off my normal pace.

Tonight at 6.00 is the opening of the Creative Arts degree show at Bolton University.
My favourite night of the year, when the university is taken over by the wave of creativity from our Art and Design students. Fine Art, Photography, Textiles, Special Effects, Animation and Illustration, Costume Design, Video Art - the final year students in all these degrees (and probably others I've forgotten) show their major projects.
I love it. It's open to the public also but, I think, only weekdays 10-5.00. Apart from tonight!

Tonight I'm going to the Golf Club to drop off a cheque for a christening doo - being a clown I had written 'July' on the ones I dropped last week, so need to write 'June' ones instead

It really was fantastic... a joy... Once more the foundation diploma in art students really did a great job... the Illustration and Animation were great... the Photography very good, the Fine Art had some tremendous work and some more mundane...William the White wrote:Tonight at 6.00 is the opening of the Creative Arts degree show at Bolton University.

But a wonderful display of the imagination in practice... Those were the only ones I managed to see... The others later...
Such talent...

Ended up doing a 9 & 1/2 mile walk up over Edgworth. I only set out to do about four, but just kept going. Problem is I only had my trainers on and now my feet are letting me 'ave it!
