If there is any truth in that though. I'd happily take less from Villa.
All seems a bit too convenient to me. Surely Mcleish will go for Foster?
How many times do you recant stuff from Nixon on here as gospel????!!!!!

Now you're telling us he might spread the odd porky?

Oh dear. Don't know what to believe now.

It is quite simple though.
Coyle and Nixon are friends, which is why Nixon's articles re our transfers are so accurate.
But lets say Coyle can see advantage with spreading an exaggeration or half truth. Who would he use for that?
Put it this way I don't believe we've done one transfer under Coyle that wasn't first written about in the Mirror by Nixon!

errr.... you're obviously forgetting that fact that we have actually already signed Sturridge - Nixon hasn't written about that yet...

Depends which way you read it, unless £1m is 33.3% of £4mBruno3 wrote:It's 33.33 recuring % higher actuallyDave Sutton's barnet wrote: Indeed, as it's 25% more than Wigan are offering, I'd be happier to take £4m then than £3m now.Sory to be pedantic but I'm bored as hell with no football, no transfer news, no f*ck all
£4m is 25% more than £3m, no?

Nope, Bruno has it right. £4M is a third higher than £3M - £1M being a third of £3M, equalling 33.3%Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Depends which way you read it, unless £1m is 33.3% of £4mBruno3 wrote:It's 33.33 recuring % higher actuallyDave Sutton's barnet wrote: Indeed, as it's 25% more than Wigan are offering, I'd be happier to take £4m then than £3m now.Sory to be pedantic but I'm bored as hell with no football, no transfer news, no f*ck all

OK
As Wigan are offering 25% less, I'd be happier to take £4m then rather than £3m now

Aye but without knowing what the implications of that are its easy to say we should hang out for 4m!Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:OK

If it meant we got David Nugent instead of a proper top level striker I'd take the £3M now and take our chances.....

Nugent surely is a top-level striker.
FFS he's got a goal-per-game international strike ratio, better than Messi, Eto'o, Rooney AND Elmander!

Apparently it's just as easy to say we should sell for less than our asking price.BWFC_Insane wrote:without knowing what the implications of that are its easy to say we should hang out for 4m!
I rather doubt the Al-Habsi fee will make the difference between Nugent and Messi.

Aye, but then that article is also written by James Nursey, who has made it his life mission to create, solely from his computer, Bolton interest in Cameron Jerome. I admire his persistance, if nothing else.
Re: Wigan launch £3 miilion bid for Ali Al Habsi
James Nursey is a no-nowt divot. Cameron Jerome my aris
Pfffft.
Re: Wigan launch £3 miilion bid for Ali Al Habsi

But still I'm not seeing any top level strikers knocking around the training ground!
