I rather meant anywhere than actually being in it, which I was for quite a lot of years. Mind you, driving to Stockport along that stretch that passes the House of the Rising Sun pub was a fair contender in the loony stakes.

There may be worse ones, but not that I've driven. ... & major cities don't count.

All I know is the journey from Leigh to Wigan takes about 30-40 minutes for about 6 miles. In that time you will see driving ineptitude to stagger the mind. Not only NO indicating, but many occasions of indicating one way & going the other. Stopping for no reason whatsoever. Parking so far from a pavement that you'd need a drawbridge.

Cars parked opposite each other so blocking a thoroughfare. Morons stopping so to talk to their mates, thus blocking the road. The list is endless.
