Today I'm happy about......

am quite proud of my oldest son (18)

having never in his life changed a plug - and only today learned how to change a lightbulb... (I mean it!)

he is now busy building his own high-spec gaming machine (he is part-way through a games-programming degree and needs a decent machine to test his stuff on...)

I think I am more excited than he is - and keep running upstairs to ask if he needs any help!

well - chuffing norah - he just turned it on - and it works - pretty much first time!! I'll be jiggered!! saved himself a shedload of money and got a seriously decent bit of gaming pc-kit - the massive beast has no fewer than 8 fans in it - and is pretty silent!

I'm well chuffed for him!

Not quite. Strangely though, I feel that I didn't run as well as I could. I'm still only 6 weeks since having a hernia repair and have been easing off a little.
