I don't really see that coming, we don't really need another RB and he would only be 4th choice behind the three CB's oder the three CM's.

btw: it's Borussia Mönchengladbach, you really should know this team back from the 70s.
Erm yes we do...

Steinsson is possibly the worst right back in the league, and Ricketts' best position is centre back.
I agree with Steinsson not being exactly what you call world class, but i think he did well replacing Ricketts.
When did Rickets play CB last time? Can't remember that exactly.

btw. if Steinsson is probably the worst RB, then you should see Levels. Honestly i don't see that coming, except someone is leaving.
There's no probably about it. He is the worst RB in the league.

Fook me we've some fans who talk shit. I'm better than Ronald Zubar, my nan is more mobile than Salgado, I am still convinced Phil bardsley was picked out of the crowd at Old Trafford during an injury crisis. John Pantsil is even shitter than Chris Baird who is even shitter than Nicky Hunt, Wigan don't have a single defender worth of the name (Figeroea is all right going forward though). Danny Simpson is shit. There are not many decent right backs around at the moment and Steinsson, whilst he has numerous faults, is far from the worst. This is presumably going to fall on deaf ears when it comes to the feck* who criticise him for giving a winger too much space out wide instead of his actual main fault which is pissing off towards the winger, leaving a massive gap between him and his centre half and then ball watching while said winger nips onto the ball in the channel. Sam Ricketts is the exact same player. His injury prone-ness which leads to his being second choice more often than first means he is elevated into the Andranik club. Steinsson also suffers from a perverse bias which runs as follows. 'Shows passion' thus earning him undue love from the chav corner. Anti-chavs decide to rail against this by saying he is shit and survives only on 'showing passion'.

Goo post Pru. For me Steinsson falls into the unfortunate position of being an average premiership player. And that's always dangerous at Bolton. Shit players get away with things, good ones are ok but woe betide if you are average. Same goes for Taylor, and went for Nolan!

Yup .... congrat's Pru.

Could have done with a bit of paragraphing though.

Agree also Pru.

I'm sure when Wolves played us they had some fat balloon at RB who was dreadful.

It's Ronald 'inch perfect through ball for Sturidge' Zubar. Elokobi is their equally shite, and if it may be believed even bigger tank-man, left back.

Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Danny Ward has joined League One side Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal.

Don't worry, that's an agent piece to drum up business. Doesn't fit Coyle mould at all and just not worth bringing in Pratley if this guy is a target

Actually, you've got Steinsson's second worst trait there. His worst is ball watching at the far post instead of picking up his man.

Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Ferguson? I think TKIZ must be right, work of an agent. Wants a club up North, well Bolton have a Scottish manager, about Fergusons level, job done! I hope at least!

Thought we already had? Ronald Zubar. If some people are to be believed, Wes Brown, who was widely snubbed as "not good enough" when he was linked. Whoever plays there for Wigan. Point is, Steinsson's one of many "about average" Premier League RBs, he's just vilified by our own fanbase cos they find it necessary to have a scapegoat in every team.
