West Ham are complete failures! Let's all laugh at 'em!

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

They are. But I understand that Martin Djetou could be tempted to take time out from his beauty parlour near Strasbourg for one last shot at the big time and that Fabrice Fernandes might be persuaded to mothball his fledgling laminate flooring business if the right offer was made.

Good point.

Do we expect Cid Braaten, or whatever he was called to surface soon ? ...... & surely Vaz Te will emerge from wherever it's not working out for him at the moment.

I'm loving the Bolton link at WHU at the minute. It's like having our very own charities match playing week in week out at this rate.

Gudjohnsen, Joey O'Brien, Nolan, Faye, the list goes on! woop woop.

Apparently Eidurgur will not be signing for them.

Matty Taylor BSA's latest grab. Absolutely fabulous on KUMB these days. All these Bolton / ex Bolton playes and BSA are suddenly the saviours. Lots of praise for Bolton too and aren't they lucky to get the man who made Bolton a formidable Premiership team. Going to be more than amusing to keep an eye on them next term. So many U-turns, Maggie Thatcher could well be their next manager. 8)

Aye - I've been reading KUMB. They've been asking for SKD too.

What is interesting that Sam is offering fairly lucrative, long term contracts. If they don't get promoted they'll be saddled with some 30+ year olds with 2/3 years to run on their contracts. Similarly, promotion will mean trying to play older players in the PL. Short term gain with some not so good long term implications?

I'm guessing his contract basically says "get up or bugger off". In which case, he's hawking the family silver to make sure he has a job next year. I'm fairly confident that with the squad they've assembled, plus apparently DJ Campbell, they'll make top-two.

Which is a shame, because it would have been ace starting a "Good job, Agent Allardyce" thread.

Don't forget the little matter of a million pound bonus for getting back up.

Indeedy. It'll be almost worth it just to read what Martin Samuel had to write about it.

good points.

Decent enough players overall. Shouuld be able to challenge IF they alll settle. But this bunch, mostly on long contracts, would need replacing if they were in the Prem.

Plus ... I thought they were supposed to be broke ?

Its amazing what a few weeks of inaction will do to fans. Theres now a thread on there eulogising about Rob Green. They've gone from a lynch mob to disciples in about 6 weeks.

Courtesy of a YouTube compilation btw.
