Wow!

I guess if you're Barca you'd rather your castoffs went to a mid-table team in England who you're not going to play, than Spanish rivals... not going to play for a year at least :D
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Boy that came out of no where. On the other hand I don't follow Spanish football so have no idea how good he is. Based upon some of the excitement though must assume he is shit hot so lets keep our fingers crossed.

I haven't seen him so will defer to LLs judgement on the player. But for those getting excited, we haven't got him yet despite those Spanish sites speculating, and I'm always slightly wary of 23 year olds who haven't played much 1st team football in their careers! However he's been picked a few times by Guardiola, so surely LL he has something about him?

Can't be true though because LK says we are skint!
It also can't be true because LL, who is of course ITK has never mentioned it. ... & anyway, Sturidge will be here too.

... & now I read LL's report.

No Emperor's New Clothes there. He's seen "plenty of the lad".

Of course he has !!

I heard Liverpool and some larger Spanish clubs are linked to him though. I doubt we'd outbid them.

Well in Liverpool's case isn't it the crappier the player is the higher they bid for him? So if can beat out Liverpool should mean that we are getting an excellent player. Again, fingers crossed.

Well he came through the youth system so yeah, he's got skillz, but seems a decent wedge for someone who has barely played 30 games in his career by 23

He might not have played much, but he's got to have something special to stay in the Barcelona squad.

Behave, he played more for Barcelona than Rodrigo did for Real at his age.

He's quick, decisive, cocky and would be a great signing for us. However, it does beg the question which one of the left sided payers would go and can he defend?
Pfffft.

Amazing that since People are claiming that the amount offered has been accepted that it is not getting any other press coverage outside of Spain.

At 19, he'd played a couple of times for Barce. One year older and he's played 12 times, he must have something about him.

You should check what I'd written, 'at his age' implies that at 19 he'd played more for Barcelona than Rodders has done for Real before being shipped out to Benfica
