Old news as well but from the rubbish red top

Bolton are pondering a move for £4million-rated Middlesbrough midfielder Rhys Williams.

Seen him once or twice, looked good but any game involving Barcelona is always so one sided i'd take any of their 11! Pretty sure he was the lad that came on and scored the 5th against Real in the first el classico of last season though?

The article is a Nixon..I'm excited!

To get Jeffren and either Welbeck or Sturridge on loan would be a real achievement. Out of interest has the Shaun Wright Phillips rumour sort of fizzled out? I'm sort of understanding why Coyle sold Ward now.

Williams is pretty handy, would've gone to South Africa with the Roos but for injury. Picture a younger, faster Ricketts.

Saw jeffren play in the flesh watching barca beat Santander 4 Nowt at the nou camp last season. Looked alright. Let's be honest he may look average in a barca team but so did Henry...

Currently on tour with Citeh massif. Scored for them against Club America, which is a bit like Team America's (AMERICA, F**k YEAH!) younger brothers.

I think that is pretty obvious. If he had already decided he would have said something. He has no need to hurry, and can wait until well into August before making a final decision, although I expect a decision to be made a bit earlier than that. He's a new manager and certainly wants to have a look at the boy before making any decisions. Same goes for the other players on the side.

Well he came through the youth system so yeah, he's got skillz, but seems a decent wedge for someone who has barely played 30 games in his career by 23
Its less likely we'd get a 23 year old from a team of that stature who'd played closer to 100 though. Certainly for that money.

This is a 23 year old who was the likes of Messi, Villa, Bojan and Pedro to get ahead of.... He'd be a great addition to the team he's quick as feck aswell which is something we don't really have much of in the team!

Coyle can offer him first team football, he's better than Petrov and Taylor. He's got a huge Spanish community on his doorstep in Mancland

I think that nobody questions why he hasn't played more given Barca's quality. But still it's always a risk with a player like this who has skirted round the edges at a massive club, especially at this price. At Barca he could do the odd good thing here he will be expected to be one of the main men!

Every time I've seen him he has looked pretty shite. Obviously technically decent, and fairly quick, but never seemed to do anything.

Crucial thing on the report I read today:

"Wanderers have had scouts in Spain watching him for over a year, and liked what they saw"

Any of you spend last year in Spain watching him play? No? Well, shush

Latest reports in Spanish online sports sites suggest we are the only team so far to meet the price but that it is thought Jeffren would prefer a stay in Spain. However I guess if those teams won't match the price what choice does he have? And Barca prefer him to come to England than sell him to a rival supposedly...... Hopefully an interesting week ahead!
