Denilson, Lansbury and Ignasi Miquel are all names being touted in today's BN.

I'd be slightly worried about that if I were Jimmy.

Would definitely have him over Muamba.

Can't make my mind up about NRC. Not a prolific goal scorer and presumably on a hefty wage, but works hard and can pass. Was initially impressed with him as an U21 but not really caught the eye since then. Given what we have he might work well with Holden in a 4-4-2.

Priority should be up front for me.

Not necessarily

Up front is one priority, but we need a new keeper eventually, two new fullbacks, a new centre half to mind Wheater, a new left winger to replace Taylor, a new CM to replace Muamba......at least.

Just £30m for all that then 8)

I though Owen said he wasn't interested in Bosman's any more because of their increased wage demands. I would have thought that Reo-Corker will be demanding a fairly high wage, possibly more than we are willing to pay.

Yes necessarily.

We have lost last season's 2 goalscorers and what we have isn't good enough. We need a striker, nay 2 strikers.

It would be great to strengthen in all areas obviously, but we don't need a keeper as a priority and with Ricketts back we hopefully can get another decent season out of Robbo.

If we sell Cahill one must assume we have a replacement target lined up - if not, we have Cahill to mind Wheater/Knight.

Looks like we are working on a left winger and we have back up in the centre of midfield.

So we need strikers first - I would hope this is being worked on behind the scenes.

I personally think that under the right manager, Reo-Coker could be an excellent midfielder.

So in that respect...I wouldn't be against him coming to us.

Regarding strikers, I'd rather we went with Petrov up front than the "proper" strikers we've got at the moment. As it stands, I think we'll have to go back to a 4-5-1 because I honestly can't see Klasnic contributing much from a starting place.

Nothing of the sort. Others may have deduced that on his behalf but we're back in the world of quote and interpretation (actually more like extrapolation).

Here's the quote from the B(E)N:
OC said, rather than wrote:I could sit here all day and speak about the players we’ve been linked with. There have probably been about 50 of them. I’ve been offered Bosmans, good players, but haven’t done them because I didn’t feel it was right. I’m not going to substitute quality for a quick fix. I’ll go out there and find the best player to take the club forward. Good players have been offered to me, but they're not the right type to fit into the jigsaw.
A blanket ban on Bosmans (Bosmen?) would make about as much sense as a blanket ban on midfielders.

As for Reo-Coker - I wouldn't complain, if he fits the wage structure. Combative, which we need, versatile, which we need, something to prove, which rarely hurts.
