Chunky did a lot right the past two matches except finish one of those chances. Could be a breakout seasOn for the lad. Like what I saw out of Pratley also. Midfield looking good, back four with Wheater and Alonso also not too shabby. Like our chances this season with one or two additions.

Presumably because being a Premier League player for the overwhelming majority of your career is unlucky?

They don't half write some throwaway shit on those kind of sites.
Ye what's wrong with being the next Kevin Davies?

Dying breed in the elite divisions now, thats what. Refs and whinging managers/players are killing the contact side of football.

You missed out TV replays and subsequent obsessive analysis.

Oh for the days when you could just break the leg of Peter Reid, or Robbie Savage, or John Thomas, and nobody minded.

Has Davies ever broken anyones leg though?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Not as far as I can remember. Cheekbone, yes.

Just saying that nostalgia's rose-tinted.
