I'd be worrying for us if it has any effect on our plans for next season
Absolutely right... Good luck to the player, obviously... but next season is not dependent on this injury being minor... I feckin hope!!!

but am getting slightly concerned, all the same...

I'd be worried if wasn't a part of our plans before. We need to be producing squad players on the cheap if we're to continue competing at this level. He struck me as a guy who would be occupying a subs spot and some cup football this coming season. We might have needed one decent forward before, we're looking at an extra squader now aswell.

Owen's really not had the rub of the green with injuries thus far.

Did we have to give it Cahill to get Arsenal to buy him?

Centre Half, two careful owners, comes with own silverware. £17m.

Well he might be tough, but he ain't that tough.

Injury happened after, from all accounts - either at the warm-down or training probably.

Bet it was Taylor what dun it

I was told about the injury around 6.30pm GMT and so it appears to have happened on the training ground

Just cos he's got an injury doesn't mean he can't stand up

As we're mentioning mysteries, isn't that bloke lying on the floor next to Holden the same Matt Taylor who's training with the reserves and talking with West Ham? :conf:
