Ground collecting

Post by William the White » Wed Jul 20, 2011 6:56 pm

The four amigos just booked hotel rooms in central Hereford for Mon Aug 1. This will be the 73rd English league ground on which I've seen the Wanderers.

To get to this number I had to include five currently in the Blue Square, and, where I've seen the Whites at two different grounds belonging to the same club (eg Stoke, Derby) I've counted both.

Who's beating me? I know some will... :D

you cant count both. if id have counted both id probably have an extra 10.

sunderland, leicester, derby, doncaster, burnden, maine rd, southampton, arsenal... ok 8. still not beating you. im around 60ish i think. or i was when i last counted, but at least 7 are no longer in the league.

I think I'm on about 20 :( and that includes Grimsby who aren't even in the football league anymore.

41 exactly so far. Gonna improve my at least 3 this season with Qpr, Norwich, Swansea and will probably be more depending on who we get in the cups.

I've visited every ground in the football league + non-league ones + Scottish ones + European ones, though not necessarily to watch the Wanderers or, in fact, see any football whatsoever. Do these count?

Are there some individual grounds you realise youve been at loads of times? I expect somewhere like Ewood Park would have been visited on many occasions!

Yeah Swansea will be a new one for me. not often you get a new'un in the league, unless its a removal job. been qpr and norwich a few times each.
