I'm going to attempt to make fancy cupcakes tonight. Got an icing piping kit for my birthday (yeah turns out being 31 means you become an old fart :() Problem is Mr GG doesn't like butter icing (weirdo) so i will just have to eat them all myself or give them away. So if you're in Mid Sussex this evening pop by! for a (maybe) tasty cake ;)

Now gonna go and try and encourage my rubbish poultry to lay me some eggs. They seem to have gone on strike. :?

The title of this thread is "Where Are You Going Tonight?" Surely that's not too difficult a question for even the most attention-seeking of people? Oh, clearly it is, look! I've just checked Google maps and 'I'm going to attempt to make fancy cupcakes tonight' doesn't seem to show up as being anywhere at all. :conf:

Just past Bacup isn't it?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Yes, but if you get to Eccles you've gone way too far.

My non-food destination tonight was the 24:7 Theatre Festival for two more plays, both pretty spot on 60 mins.

Both of these seriously good. The first, Sherica, by Ian Winterton takes as its premise that a teacher and a fourteen year old pupil at his school both use the same prostitute... And when it's discovered the obnoxious kid decides to go in for blackmail...There's much more to it than that, and it's very tightly plotted, and spins a whole bunch of moral dilemmas and 'solutions' nicely... genuine writing, the festival doing its job well... And the acting and directing excellent...

The second The Crimson Retribution by Steve Pearce is an out and out comedy and hilarious... Without spoilers is hard but - a comic book hero visits a dysfunctional family to make tea and exact revenge for a crime they don't know they have committed... Very funny... Acting not as good as the other, but the script very strong...

check it out...
