Taylor didn't fly out after we'd supposedly accepted a bid though.
I think us being nowhere near is a reasonable conclusion. Course if it follows the pattern of the rest of this summer, it'll come out soon enough that we were never actually interested.

When did we accept a bid?

But I don't think Wham and BSA splashed out 2.2m for Taylor on a whim. Surely there had been some contact made, fees discussed, etc. before the US tour began. JMO (Just My Opinion, opposite of ITK).

Am I reet in thinking that at best we turned our attention to Jeffren after being knocked back by Rodrigo
I'm not over excited if that's the case

It was reported that way chronologically - not sure we can deduce that Jeffren was below Rodriguo in terms of ability on the "transfer list".CAPSLOCK wrote:Am I reet in thinking that at best we turned our attention to Jeffren after being knocked back by Rodrigo I'm not over excited if that's the case

I thought Jeffren was a left winger, but Rodrigo a right winger/striker?

I think Jeffren is a LW while Rodrigo is a left-footed striker. We just played him out of position on the RW out of necessity, I believe.Lord Kangana wrote:I thought Jeffren was a left winger, but Rodrigo a right winger/striker?

Daily Mail saying 3M for the pair. Great business, if I say so myself.
Mears is better than Steinsson.
Eagles is long-awaited back-up for Lee.
Here's hoping tyls is right about Effren Jeffren as well.

Eagles is left sided though? Part of me thinks this is bollocks but the other part thinks this would explain the Taylor sale. Can't see Jeffren and Eagles though, wouldn't make sense to me unless Jeffren is earmarked for up front?

Not sure. Eagles definitely started out on right for United and has played a lot on the right for Burnley. Presume that's his prefered side.BWFC_Insane wrote:Eagles is left sided though? Only problem with Eagles is his massive ego. I've met him a handful of times, if ever there was an award for international playboy of the year...Eagles would be disgusted to realise he's didn't make the short-list.

I know little of either. I remember Eagles looking good a couple of years ago during Burnley's cup runs etc. I trust OC can deal with the ego issue.
CAPS is right about the OP being ITK. He's got a track record of being spot on.(the OP that is

1x winger
1x fullback
with a possible
1x winger/forward
sounds good to me.
That would just leave a replacement for Gazza.

Don't want to be negative, I try not to be most times but Eagles and Mears. I'm not convinced, will let them pull on the white shirt first but by the sounds of it Efren Jeffren Suarez has told us that his son is not coming?
Eagles has played on both wings for the Deliverance boys
