I'm sure they were all sold because someone on a forum said they were shit.

Of course, being unfit and probably incapable of being 100% fit ever again, and demanding a wage increase above and beyond our pay ceiling had no bearing on the decisions.

None and I'm sure he resents the implication he didn't give 110% at all times :)
Pfffft.

It's a move that makes sense for a lot of reasons. Taylor who is a player who for whatever reason seems to have not seen eye to eye with a not-insignificant portion of the crowd, has a game that isn't really of benefit to Coyle's system and from all accounts carries a hefty wage by our standards.

I never took to him because I felt he really slowed play down. Sometimes you were just crying out for him to fill a space, or run with the ball or pass it forward and it never happened. And when his confidence slipped, and the shooting boots went he wasn't able to offer much to our system.

I also felt he was a Megsonite who would always be a potential dressing room threat.

But some good memories. His performance out in Madrid, what I can remember of the game was classic Taylor Bolton. He was all over the park, working his arse off. We kept a clean sheet, the one we needed, and he was a big part of that.

Goodbye and good luck.

Taylor was a good signing in all honesty. £4m transfer fee with £2m+ repaid at the end of the deal. It would've been stupid of us not to accept a fee in that region and seeing as his game wasn't really suited to our style of play it sort of affected the game in an adverse way. He performed well and was our best left midfielder at the club (despite us selling him), hopefully Petrov will repay the faith that Owen Coyle has given him and we'll see the Petrov that he is capable of providing us with. Scored some good goals and created a fair few aswell, for the money we got from him it helped fund two players from Burnley that hopefully will help turn a profit (in performances or future sales).

Have fun working with Big Sam!

Obvious he's not Coyle's sort of wide man - just look at those Coyle has brought in - Weiss, Petrov, Rodrigo, trying to get Jeffren.. All players with a bit of pace and trying to tie in with his 'Winger at byline' philosophy.

Taylor scored some crucial goals when he had more licence to get in the box in Megson's system, but it's probably the right deal for everyone as long as his place is filled (!)

Waited 3 years for a goal from half way though eh

I'm sure in your fcuking mindless minds, you'll have the next few lined up.

Wouldn't be the same if we just supported the people on the pitch.

Specially if our greatest claim to fame was saying on an internet forum

"xxxxxxx" is shit.

How did the world last 2,000 years without it?

Dunno give us a clue :conf:

Wait. Sorry, he doesn't count.
