He's a brilliant striker. Liverpool fans never rated him because he wasn't in the same class as Torres. Who else are we going to get for £4m who is better than N'Gog.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Really?Rodney Trotter wrote:I'd be happy with N'Gog

I'd certainly take him.
Came with a reptuation as the next big thing, had a few years to settle in the Premier League now, just needs to find a club on his level, I'd say we're about right.

Still prefer Sturridge on loan if I'm honest. And if its possible.
Though Sturridge on loan and N'gog.....hmmmm....

Liverpool fans absolutely loathe him - and for that reason I am in.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

I do think he'd be a good buy. Pretty sure I mentioned him in a wish-list thread. He's young, pacy and can score. He just needed games, and he's not going to get them at Liverpool.
At that price, if he came through, it'd be a good buy

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
I'd prefer an unknown rather than Ngog. For one he's too lightweight, Vaz Té mark two in my opinion and I reckon we'd find him shirking out of games should we come across tough opposition. I'd much prefer Cameron Jerome (but then again he'd be being moulded to support Kevin Davies' role as opposed to the quickfire striker we desperately need).
I think NGog fits Owen Coyle's billing as the fast pacey striker who needs to prove himself. They've not got European concerns this season so their abundance of strikers (Kuyt, NGog, Carroll, Jovanovich and Suarez) more than covers their squad. I'd think a loan deal would be in the offing if we're going to sign him. £4 million for a striker with a poor record does not fill me with much hope. What does fill me with hope is Coyle did a similar thing with Sturridge and it paid dividends, hopefully the same can be done with the next loanee.

anyone who says he is shite wants their head seeing too!
he's an adequate premier league forward, in a team with service he'll get around 10 goals.....sure he'll miss plenty as well but thats cos he aint torres, or even Danny Sturridge. He's be the best forward at our club by a mile IMO, apart from maybe a fully firing Klasnic, though we will never see that.

Has pace, and that's what we are lacking. No complaints with Ngog if we do get him.

surely we couldn't ask for a lot more than NGog? IF KD is going to have another season starting every week we could do a lot worse than having NGog playing off him.
