Don't envy you that, done my time.
Lots of good kids films out there, some bad ones too (Furry Vengeance).

:edit:
Sorry, no I'm not. It doesn't have Predators in it, I hate uncomplete box sets

If I didn't have them already I'd be all over that like Adele at an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet

Re: What are you watching tonight?
cos there was nowt else on - watched "Holiday Hijack" last night...
the idea is to take some brits from a swanky all-inclusive hotel in abroad-land and give them a taste of what life is actually like in the country - and how tourism has an impact on their lives...
last night it was a group of 20-somthings staying in a posh hotel in Gambia
they spent 5 days with a Gambian family and were asked to immerse themselves as fully as possible in their life...
after I stopped shouting at the prize wanker bloke who declared that "being asked to carry a big bowl of fish on his head was the hardest thing he'd had to do in his life - because the bowl might be dirty and he he hadn't seen it being washed - and so it wasn't going on his head..." etc.. it was unexpectedly actually quite good. It took a while - but I think it actually got through to them in the end...
I watched it to the end - so it can't have been that bad..

Brain needed a rest so I watched Narnia/Prince Caspian. The special effects are quite staggering in their cleverness. Films and film technology have come an awful long way since Flash Gordon and the Clay Men.

Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos?

Breaking Bad. Best thing on TV at the moment, bar none.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
I saw a trailer for that or something,. It looked pretty awesome.
Plus it's the father from the Malcolm show
I saw it a while ago for $20 at JB, which I'd consider cheapish for a US Drama

Same.
Main guy is good, but the rest of the programme doesn't do it.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Your loss really.
Gets miles better at the start of the second season, though if you've given up after only 7 episodes then I guess you didn't need much convincing (or have the concentration span of a gnat).
Season 4 just started in the US, gets better every season.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
I flicked it to the end of Cadel Evans Tour Victory show, and saw that Skins was next.
Recorded it, but decided to delete it 10 minutes in (without watching it.)
Had it on a menu screen then it timed out, saw that the Gangster Dad was played by a guy from The Office!! (UK)
Degrassi.
(!!!!!!!!) I saw the other day that in Season 1 of Degrassi Junior High the character that is Wheels wears a Footscray Bulldogs Jumper! (The show was from the late 80s, filmed in Canada)

I posted this in general and with a link I found on the subject to a friends facebook wall, he then deleted it! (he goes for the dogs)
(He posts all the time about death metal songs and albums and probably didn't want a kids show in the mix)
5 minutes beforehand I posted on his wall about an album I had bought yesterday. He liked that and posted a comment.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Entourage season 8 is being shown on Sky Atlantic starting tonight, only 1 day after the US premier!! winner
Re: What are you watching tonight?
If you think giving up an a TV programme after SEVEN episodes means having the concentration span of a gnat, then you have FAR too much time on your hands.jmjhb wrote:Your loss really.
