Mario Jardel is strengthening the Al-Taawon

At 37, Mario Jardel is now going for 19. th club of his career. Advanced Former FC Porto and Sporting Beira Mar in Portugal, will now play in the service of Al-Taawon, Saudi Arabia. After last season having played Atletico Rio Negro, Brazil, Mario Jardel is already in Saudi Arabia to the next adventure. Even though the club has not revealed the length of the contract, the Saudi press says an agreement for a few months. Mário Jardel arrives at Al-Taawon to replace the advanced Carando Danilo, who returned to South America to Nublense play on.

Basically the plan is as bad as the spelling. But that's where he'll be.

All I can remember of him is that header in the cup against liverpool.

That said, his life is a sad story - the collapse of the move to Madrid, the drugs, the booze.....sobering tale.

His wife !!

.... & that fantastic "skipping-like" running style.

Still he had some career & if a $1.9m contract at age 37 is failure I wouldn't mind some.

No problem, though you'll no doubt be sad to hear that my fly is not undone.

Goals to game record for us was very decent. If he could've gotten himself fit, he potentially could have been a 15-20 a season striker
