The First XI
Unless Owen's going to play rotational we might have a few sulks amongst the ranks with the new additions and all. What's our first XI likely to be?

Based on tonight, I'd go with -
Jussi
Steinsson
Cahill
Knight
Robinson
Lee
Reo Coker
Davies
Petrov
Klasnic
Davies
Pratley next in line for the center midfield spot. Can't see it being anything different.

Re: The First XI
Rotation is the way of things these days Tango. Hardly anyone can manage a full-on full season. Especially not in midfield. Which is where we are now most stocked. The only headache might come in the late autumn, but theres bound to be injuries and lack of form by then.
I'm not worried about how we start, I'd say its nailed on that NRC and Muamba will start. Maybe Pratley for Mu, but I'm not convinced, and Coyle might like to drip feed him in to the Prem. Lee picks himself, then its a case of Petrov or Eagles. One of the three is bound to be unavailable from time-to-time, so no worries there.
I'm hoping theres more to come up front. So I couldn't comment on that position at the mo.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I think you're spot on with M.Davies and Pratley being the only one I could see being different for QPR if we start with this squad.hi there, i'm chris wrote:Based on tonight, I'd go with -

I'd rather have Petrov on a sun longer

Re: The First XI
Based on tonight I'd like to see more of the system we started the second half with. Klasnic up front with Eagles in the hole, LCY on the right, Petrov on the left, Pratley and NRC in midfield. I liked the look of it and would like to see it in a premiership game!

Re: The First XI
Could do with the Cahill situation resolving soon though, one way or the other, so we can get a settled partnership in central defence. We're definitely looking stronger and when Holden comes back into contention it'll be a real scrap for midfield spots.

Scrap for a midfield spot. Coz Pea-head walks straight back in. Three we've got, capable of MASSIF football.TANGODANCER wrote:Could do with the Cahill situation resolving soon though, one way or the other, so we can get a settled partnership in central defence.
