That training kit should be our away shirt.

Eagles is someone we could use really well at the club he isn't a bad footballer and could really push on through to be a top class player He's willing to drive forward and gets involved in the game and doesn't hide away from player, plus he likes a goal!!

I really like what Coyles done to the midfield.... Reo Coker can do a better job then Muamba plus Coker can pass the ball... Pratley can also do what Muamba can do plus he can score goals and pass the ball

he certainly seems to fit Coyle's "players with summat to prove" philosophy - players who will bust a gut and put in the energy and high tempo... I think experience has told that this is not on its own "enough" for Premiershp success - but is is a good portion of the battle - and if blended with some actual quality, survival is certainly within our scope...

Love the file name of that picture.

Eagles is the sort of player a certain type of fan love. I'm not convinced. Think he will be a decent squad player though. We still need another winger though. We have three at the club. We are massively reliant on having no injuries AND Petrov not being shit this season. We don't even have Elmander to chuck out right anymore.

Im happy enough with the signing of Eagles because it brings a new attacker to provide competition with our wingers, although I am not sure about Mears ?

That too.

A Burnley mate of mine said Eagles can be good yet frustrating in equal measure. Seems to cut inside a lot and opposition defences suss him out pretty quickly. Mears he offered to drive over here himself! He described him as thinking he's better than he is but good going forward and limited as a defender.

Mind you, a bloke in my mates gym told him he heard these two are ahem husband & wife

Judging by the gear he wears, I wouldn't be surprised

Seen him around town and he definitely looks the sort.

Who cares though, so long as he scores the goals? We've had at least one gay player in the last decade anyway.

Statistically, we've probably had more than one.
And one or two referees that have F'd us in the A.
