Good players, bad injuries

Post by Mar » Sun Jul 31, 2011 12:16 am

Aside from the latest two (Holden and Chungy) can you think of other Bolton players who have suffered similar fates that have marred an otherwise productive Bolton career.

I can think of two more than stand out. Florent Laville and Ricardo Gardner.

Any more?

Could have been a very different first season at the Reebok without his leg-break

Never conceded a goal with Fortune on the pitch. Imagine if we'd kept him fit!

Khalilou Fadiga.

He was a fantastic player, could have been a top, top, top one at a top, top club.

And I reckon a dicky ticker counts.

Jeff Chandler. Had a superb season before his leg break, came back a different player who was scared of every challenge that came in.
