Off who and for what?
He's having a big argument on TMS about the "stumping".

Now saying he's faced better bowlers at a benefit match at Headingley.

Other commentator trying to difuse the situation and Boycott calling him "soft".
What's Boyccs opinion on the stumping out of interest?
Out - and Bell's a wanker basically.

Cricket Analyst Simon Hughes: "Will all be about the roller this morning deadening the bounce. England need a lead of 250. Think they might get it."
current lead: 272...

(and I might as well have forgotten trott!)

highest 4th innings total achieved to win a test match at Trent Bridge - 284

we are now past that.

however - if you have laxman, dravid and tendulkar in your side - just about anything is possible - so i'd amass as many as possible! - bat until lunchtime tomorrow.

Not really worth discussing how many with two days left - you just get as many as you can.

Wouldn't put it beyond India to get 300-350 on today's pitch. Would have been delighted with a lead of 280 on yesterday's pitch.

some uneven bounce around now - we will exploit that... the one that got trott out f'rinstance... but - yeah - amass as many as we can - I can't see us declaring with so much time to go - it would be too big a risk when we are already 1 up.

Some effects of the super-heavy roller from this morning will be wearing a bit thin by now. I would be heading towards the THS if we declared.

Quite. Get an unnasailable lead and plenty time to attack them.

We'll not declare before lunch tomorrow (if that's an option).

bresnan and prior making hay... which does make you wonder what tendulkar, dravid and laxman could do on here... but - they'd be facing fired up bowlers squeezing for a win - which is not what we are currently facing!

400+ runs today for the loss of 5 wickets.

187 runs in the last session.

Great effort.

Enthralling days play. Didn't half get a shift on in that last session.

Super dupe. Grand display of batting with some real heroes. I was fearing it would be a bowlers test and low scores. How wrong you can be? Amazing turnaround from this morning. Get in there.
Has to be said, India look less than top notch in the fitness and injury stakes. Exciting stuff.

At the start of the day I was hoping for a lead of around 220 to give us half a chance and something to bowl at. Funny how things changed as I'm now thinking 400 should just about be enough!

Superb days play from England!

Having to go into their dressing room and pressure India to withdraw is pretty shameful.
