you wanna piss off Boggers now??Tals-biggest-fan wrote:Chris's is a decent keeper with a big future given a season working with the goal keeping staff and the reserves I feel he can push for the 2nd keeper spot behind Jussi and then be our first choice when Jussi leaves!Bigzippy wrote:Hmm this was a rumor I heard last week but laughed it off as I never thought Jussi would fool us around (again).
We are supposedly looking at getting Chris Maxwell from Wrexham (may be easier now that we can probably get him for free), that is from a member of the playing staff at Wrexham. Good keeper but a long way off top flight.

I would love to see Defoe come and I cant understand why Spurs seem to touting him around in the hope of replacing him with some foreigner with no Prem experience. Since we probably cant afford his wages or the transfer fee and plus I dont think he'd come here, why oh why aren't we looking at the much cheaper alternative - D J Campbell?

I've got nothing against him but I just can't take a ginger goalkeeper seriously in a bright pink top!plymouth wanderer wrote:thebish wrote:you wanna piss off Boggers now??Tals-biggest-fan wrote:Chris's is a decent keeper with a big future given a season working with the goal keeping staff and the reserves I feel he can push for the 2nd keeper spot behind Jussi and then be our first choice when Jussi leaves!Bigzippy wrote:Hmm this was a rumor I heard last week but laughed it off as I never thought Jussi would fool us around (again).

As for Defoe I read eariler that he's on £60,000 a week and I recon we could get him for around £8million

Rocket Ryo Myaichi excelled on loan at Feyenoord last season. They want him back and Wenger has gurgled provisional assent but it's possible he'd send him for a "Wilshere polish"

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Would we have the same problem as Gooners originally did though DSB, he can't have a work permit yet as he didn't play enough for Feyenoord or for the Japanese national team?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Rocket Ryo Myaichi excelled on loan at Feyenoord last season. As for Defoe, would love at Wanderers but absolutely no chance unless Spuds stump up half his wages
Pfffft.

Defoe + Jenas for Cahill = Deal, Jenas could do a job for us on the right wing and he's bound to be behind Huddlestone, Rose, van der Vaart, Palacios, Kranjcar, Lennon and Modric in the pecking order, worth an enquiry.

And he's not a winger either.

Kranjcar (loan) plus Defoe and £10m = Cahill?

Moreno just banged in one for Spain U20 at the World Cup playing center forward. I wonder if his dad will allow him back?
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr

No wonder OC wanted him before the World Cup. Now Benfica will up his transfer fee.
