he has more experience under his belt... however - I have a memory that he left feeling a bit p'd off with his time at Bolton - he didn't think we gave him a fair crack of the whip - he thought he should have started every game. etc..Tombwfc wrote:Towards the end, as has been pointed out, Weiss did start to find an end product, far moreso than Rodrigo did.
In terms of loan fee I doubt he'll cost what others might, so I wouldn't be unhappy with him at all.

Weiss would be alright by me... probably cheap as he's got no future at City, 21/22, will have re-sale value... Did alright playing pub football up north given games, and who's to say what state CYL will come back in? SWP would be a short term filler. Weiss could be longer term.
As Bish says though, he was pretty pished off with us for not playing him as much as he felt he deserved...

Always pleasing to steal players from under Burnley's noses too.
First our Jack, then Coyle, then his backroom staff, then Mears and Eagles - now Weiss.
Lav it

Rumours abound that Joey Barton has been released from his Newcastle contract.
Would like to think we'd at least make him an offer, the massive scumbucket.

Not sure about him but he played well last season.

Fairly sure he can play both right and centre. Would be a good player for us.
We tried to get him when Megson was in charge, but wouldn't pay the £3m that Newcastle wanted, if memory serves.
There'll be bigger boys than us after him, should he be on a free.

Least he wouldn't be able to get injured on our pre-season US tour.

He's a good player, just a gobshite to boot.
To be fair to Gary Voldemort if he'd signed him there'd have been uproar from the fans, I'd still have my doubts, but he has turned it around on the pitch.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Apart from the "red mist" off the ball incidents of course...Didn't he take out Gamst-Pedersen last season?bobo the clown wrote:He's a good player, just a gobshite to boot.

Newcastle just confirmed he's on the transfer list available on a free.

Reason enough to sign him, in my book.Worthy4England wrote:Apart from the "red mist" off the ball incidents of course...Didn't he take out Gamst-Pedersen last season?bobo the clown wrote:He's a good player, just a gobshite to boot.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him ruck up at West Ham.
