Fairly sure he's Tony Kelly's nephew - couldn't he put a word in?
Petrov - Coker - Holden - Barton
not a bad midfield four, that.

Something strange about this. I think he has another year left on his contract (not sure) - why wouldn't the deluded try to sell him?

You answered your own question. They're deluded, i.e. not full shillings.Wandering Willy wrote:Something strange about this. I think he has another year left on his contract (not sure) - why wouldn't the deluded try to sell him?

He's been causing a kerfuffle on Twitter though, wonder if they've decided he's more bother than he's worth........Wandering Willy wrote:Something strange about this. I think he has another year left on his contract (not sure) - why wouldn't the deluded try to sell him?
or they decided this haircut was the final straw

I've said it before, that Pardew is a prick and nobody wants to play for him.

Probably worried that he'll continue his previous form and knock off a WAG or two (not in a hitman-sense).ohjimmyjimmy wrote:I've said it before, that Pardew is a prick and nobody wants to play for him.

Barton tweeted about LCY's injury the other day and praised the player and said it was a blow to the team - trying to sweeten us up pre-move is he?

The early word is that Tottenham and Arsenal are favorites to sign Barton. Definately think he'll end up at a top 4/5 club, just might have to do a bit of bench warming whilst he's there!

I hope not, he's in my fantasy team
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Why are people even considering Barton as an option?
He can't play on the bloody wing, I'd rather have Weiss back.
We have a packed central midfield at the moment and there is no point paying big wages on somebody else to play there when we desperately need a striker!

Just because you play on the right doesn't automatically make you a winger - see D. Beckham for an example......
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Forget everything else, from a footballing point of view...I'd be *gutted* if we weren't beating down his agent's door to sign him.
A free Owen, a FREE...

But he'd be the best midfielder in the team, easily imho.keveh wrote:We have a packed central midfield at the moment and there is no point paying big wages on somebody else to play there when we desperately need a striker!

But OC likes wingers therefore i think he wants wingers.Lofthouse Lower wrote:Just because you play on the right doesn't automatically make you a winger - see D. Beckham for an example......
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Then play a 4-4-2 with Petrov, Reo-Coker, Barton, Eagles. He's on a free, meaning none of the "striker fund" needs to be spent.ohjimmyjimmy wrote:But OC likes wingers therefore i think he wants wingers.Lofthouse Lower wrote:Just because you play on the right doesn't automatically make you a winger - see D.
