Seems to be the beeb way, now.
Film three episodes of a drama, gauge the reaction, commission full series. Not a bad way of working and it whets the appetite.

Luther - film six episodes for the first series, great success! Second series has four episodes.

as I didn't have any high expectations to start with - I couldn't be that disappointed...Bruce Rioja wrote:Really? I found it incredibly disappointing.thebish wrote:watched Four Lions last night.... very much enjoyed it!

It was 50/50 for me, I enjoyed it but it definitely wouldn't be worth a re-watch.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was my problem. I had a huge expectation given Morris's previous work.thebish wrote:as I didn't have any high expectations to start with - I couldn't be that disappointed...Bruce Rioja wrote:Really? Updates from Bolton's friendly on here, while the girlfriend watches a program about parents of murdered kids. Both doing their best to ruin my Friday.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Tonight I'll be watching The Wu Tang Clan.
I bought the 1968 story of Doctor Who: The Mind Robber for $16.
I should of got The War Games for $25
It's over 7 hours long
Grumpy Old Men S1+2 and S3 were $13 each.
I've seen probably thirty seconds of it; I should have bought that
