SWP prob knows that Bruce wants his teammate Johnson as first choice and that he's a back-up if they're not getting anywhere with him. Whether he's a proud man or not though, proud enough to turn an extra say 10 grand a week away, i doubt it.

But will Ian Wright want to keep travelling up to Sunderland to watch his lad play? :)

SSN saying now that's it's just us and Wigan that've been given permission to talk to SWP

He'd rather come to Bolton than Wigan. Everyone know's Wigan's team is full of gayers. He's not into that sort of stuff, John O'Shea told me.

Bolton- Somewhere inbetween on both. Not guarenteed first team football but should start as first choice and better wages than Wigan but probably not what Sunderland can offer.
Not sure where you get that info from. If SWP comes to us, he'll be straight into the starting 11 imho.

Just opinion.

I agree he'll be straight into the first XI but with Eagles behind him, it's not like he'd be the untouchable superstar of the team. Petrov seemed to come with that attitude and soon found himself on the bench. At Wigan, I can't imagine SWP would ever find himself out of the team barring injury. I mean N'Zogbia called Wigan a shit club at every opportunity and was always the star man.

I thought bradley was at charlton now?

As for SWP, he would be a good signing if we can pull it off.

I have friend who supports Reading and she tells me that Shane Long is in talks with an unknown Premier League club. I really hope it is us as this guy has it all, speed, passing ability, and can score goals!

Pleeeease Owen don't sign Jerome (cannot fathom what he sees in this lad?????)

Might it just be a case of...well...who else does he bloody sign? Time is running out, and we can't afford to start the season with 2 strikers in the entire squad!

Sneijder on the way to City apparently. They're taking the piss now imho, but they will surely need to get rid of *some* of their squad players now?
