Excellent, and to reciprocate your gesture from earlier in the week, for this you are now on my TW 'friends' list.Lofthouse Lower wrote:Going to donate blood at lunch. Not mad keen on needles but it's worth it in terms of the biscuits at the end.

You can't kill Spider-Man
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Anyway, today I'm angry about fcukcnuts leaving broken off, suspiciously singed spoon heads, along with skanky foil wrappings where I coach kids. On a fecking school. Thankfully no needles.
Made up for it by one of the rougher lads sitting on a ball and shouting 'Look everyone, I'm pregnant!', to which son of very middle class parents tutted, and said in disgust, 'You can't say that, it's offensive'.

As you have already confessed to being a cop, did you get time off work? We all know you coppers would do anything to get out of working.

You're thinking of firemen! No, I didn't get any time off for it. Just been healthy over the last 40 or so years and kept donating twice a year and then three times a year when they allowed.malcd1 wrote:Bloody hell. Re: Today I'm angry about.....
News made me angry, in a petty oh do feck off way, as opposed to the more serious stuff of the riots. There were two things; one, the newswoman at the end of a fifteen minute long piece on the rioting deciding to give us the pertinent footnote that many people on social media are commenting on these events ( O RLY? No shit) and the police have pointed out that anybody who incites violence through social media would be possibly prosecuted. Was that the worlds most boring Public Information Broadcast, worst scare tactic, or most vapid - in a stultifyingly pointless, beige, field - reference to the 'phenomenon' of social media yet?
Second was that mental bint Vorderman saying she reckons Maths should be compulsory up to 18. Ignoring that every time she has ever opened her mouth on telly to do anything other than basic maths she has shown herself a mental, half arsed, intellectually-weak fruitcake, and ignoring that her idea is shit, when the feck did the over-exposed, mediocre, Z-list celebrities suddenly decide they were entitled to run the fecking country. First of all Jamie Oliver fought like a bastard on a campaign he had considered, and put a lot into, then the likes of Mitch Winehouse and Carol Vorderman decided coz they'd been on the telly they can now decide fecking policy. The government actually felt the need to reply to Carol bastard Vorderman. Dear. Me.
