We've already got a better version of him.

If we're going to get a second, we might aswell get the younger fitter version. Ie, Cameron Jerome.

crouch?
Who's that coming up the hill boys,
The Wanderers are coming up the hill boys,
They all laugh at us, they all mock at us,
They all say our days are numbered,

Born to be a Wanderer, victorious are we....

Might be me being blind, but I can't find where on Nixon's twitter it says this lad had been in the premier league?

It'll be Andrew Johnson, he's the only one I can think of that meets all Nixon's criteria. If we got him I'd be happy with that.

I did think Kevin Doyle for a while, but he's not as close a fit and Wolves would be blunt up front without him.

Is Andy (anyone who goes from Andy to Andrew is a knob, so I refuse to call him Andrew) Johnson that popular with fans?

I'd take him but it'd be disappointingly anticlimactic.

From Football365 - http://www.football365.com/transfer-gos ... ely-Gossip" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Chelsea want a whopping £3million if any club wants to take Daniel Sturridge on loan..

On another note on SWP - seems stoke are ahead of us (from tribal http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/ ... ps-1802961)

Code: Select all

Stoke City are moving to beat rivals for Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.

The Sunday Mirror says City boss Roberto Mancini has told Wright-Phillips he can leave.

Stoke are now hoping that the offer of Europa League football will make them a more attractive proposition than Sunderland, Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.

Sunderland and Bolton have confirmed their interest in SWP.
