Would that be for 6 months or a year? Plus full wages probably so another $2m = $5m GBP?a1 wrote:PAY IT FOR CHRIST SAKE . PAY IT .Chelsea want a whopping £3million if any club wants to take Daniel Sturridge on loan..
Still think it would be worth it. He'd get 15+ goals we get a respectable 10th or so. The difference in our finishing postion would pay for $1m of the price.
What about N'Gog for $4.5m? He's 22 and we get to keep/on-sell him. Plus he'd score 10 goals and we'd stay up.
What could've happened; did.

Vermin is down for the Arse, not a long way to fall from 5ft10 but he's injured and the pressure is on Wenger from the increasingly irate Arsenal fans - some of whom will be old enough to vote soon- to fulfill his end of season promise to buy a famous player in particular a tall central defender. Cahill fits the bill, whereas Jagielka doesn't measure up and Dann doesn't cut it either not being in the premier league or English.
What could've happened; did.

Blackburn Rovers are trying to sell a handful of players in a secret list that reveals the salaries of Steve Kean's unwanted men.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

This is like 321 with Ted Rogers!

it's been suggested before but it sounds like Michael Owen fits the criteria which wouldn't be a bad shout if he stays fit

Owen would be an amazing signing! Doubt it very much though, but if he stays fit he'd be dangerous. I do think we still would need another striker and a winger! but one step at a time eh! COYWM

Hmmm... 2 years - 30 appearances (not many as a starter) - 5 goals... are we sure he still has it?Salford Trotter wrote:it's been suggested before but it sounds like Michael Owen fits the criteria which wouldn't be a bad shout if he stays fit
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Can't see it being Michael Owen, if united wanted rid they wouldn't have give him a new contract at the end of last season.

He's not had it for years. I don't care what platitudes are thrown his way, if you need him to play consistently then you're f*cked.

I'd like any of our strikers to not have it and average a goal every 3 games.... As he's managed the last 5 seasons or so...

I don't believe he would be, at 32 he's probably looking at his last contract at the top level and would relish regular first team football and with Wellbeck not out on loan this season he is likely to be 4th or 5th choice striker for MU.mullayo wrote:"Not financially crippling"Salford Trotter wrote:it's been suggested before but it sounds like Michael Owen fits the criteria which wouldn't be a bad shout if he stays fit
